I might recommend wrapping the tail spars around a stiff core, like cardboard, balsa, or foamcore. Depending on the scale it's being built at.

In small scale if made a perfect folder, is not necessary (maybe) internal reinforcements, good news for modelling my move is delay one week because a problems in eletric installation in my new home so a I give a week for continue on S40, in the last night I finish the tail subset...
Now I start the floats and build common pieces like engines (simple version) cranckcase plates, propellers for ready to made a jig and join all sets... |

I'm with Sergio. A very nice clean works space. Mine is a disaster, until I need to clean it up.

Beside a cleaner or confusion desk, I working on floaters in the last night, perforated the former with a special pliers for good result the piece is need a second paper or base for effective hole.
