Finding help for Halinski's F-14 Tomcat

I've seen some crazy instructions but the assembly drawings for this kit (Kartonowy Arsenal 3-4/2001) take the cake: parts unaccounted for or mislabeled, part numbers duplicated on differing parts, and two-dimensional drawings that obscure three dimensional details.

I needed help, and found it at these links to various build threads. Some have been posted here before, others not but it might be helpful to the next victim to have them all in one place. So, here they are. If you know of others, please post them in this thread.

Don't get me wrong; the kit is beautifully done and produces a stunning model -- something I hope to achieve in the next few weeks. But given the inadequacy of the assembly drawings, it should have come with a short dictionary of swear words -- in Polish, so I wouldn't upset my wife or scare my cats.

Correction on Koti's link:
PapÃ*rové modelářstvÃ* CZ • Zobrazit téma - F-14 A Tomcat / Halinski / 1:33
Also, disregard Henry's as that is for the '95. -J

Better avoid the old Halinski kits. However beautiful the later ones are, the early ones suck.

Not always. Halinski put out some great kits in the '90s. They can be challenging because of the instructions, but their artwork is always among the best for the time.

David,

Here’s Ferrarifan’s build from the CardModel.cn forum, 2017:
[F-14ÐÛè-ÆëÆëÆö]-·É»úµ³»î¶¯-¹þÁÖ2001/3-4 ¡¶Í깤¡· - º½¿ÕÄ£ÐÍÖÆ×÷½øÐÐÇø(Construction Reports) - CMֽģÍø - Powered by Discuz!
I haven’t compared this thread to his Kartonbau thread, so I don’t know if they’re duplicate text & pics. Looks like he did some significant surgery on it, early on in the build.

And his previous one from 2013:
1/33 Halinski KA 2001-03-04 Grumman F-14A Tomcat (´òÓ¡°æ) ½øÐÐʱ£¬6ÔÂ20ÈÕ¸üР- ×¹»úÇø£¨Aborted Projects£© - CMֽģÍø - Powered by Discuz!

Note: long page load times (at least for me), but well worth it; excellent work.

Hope these help. -J

Also,
