That's a nice Fresco, Tony. Now you need a somalian example! Is it a an artefact of the screencap or are the flat surfaces a different shade from the fuselage?

It reminds me that I need to finish (camo) and correct (orientation of the flag) my iraqi MiG-17 WIPs. Iraq only got a small number of them and a tiny minority were camouflaged. The camo scheme is highly speculative since I only have a side view.

I've added a later version of the angolan MiG-21MF (early 1980ies). Same serial, no fin flash, 6 roundels like the build in Cocardes International #3 that was my original inspiration.

What does he say about colors on the rudder? Black/yellow/red or camo colors green/sand/green?

According to the books of Adrián Fontenellaz and Tom Cooper, both versions that you uploaded are very correct. The bare aluminum version with the Cuban Air Foce three-colored bands barely visible at the fin is the only version left. The first time they went into action, the South Africa pilots who faced them reported that they had been attacked by "Air Pirates" with units without visible markings. Your "Hi-Tech" MiG's are excellently well paneled. I upscaled them to 1/100 without problem. Thank you very much and congratulations for your great contributions. We are still waiting for the powerful Mr. Rickstef for the approval of MiG 17. Saludotes Tigertony100.

Thank you! Maybe I should add the VF-54/VF-103 Jolly Rogers to the fin of the markings-less version.

Something like this:

As a second gen, yes. I think it's a PFM.
As a 3rd gen (R/MF), not yet, unless you count the angolan as one.
No 4th gen as I haven't fone the "Bis" spine.

And now there's a cuban MiG-21MF. Full options for the wing roundels : none, two, or four.

Thank you!

I may do a cuban MiG-21R in camo but it will require a test-build.
