Nice job, well done.
I have a heap, over one metre, of printed and bought models that will out live me for sure. |

My pile is about 3 inches now and that's just printed by me.There is about 30 models there.Printed by manufacturers I have 3 giant boxes of them and there is zero possibility of making those.I should donate them somewhere. |

Great work on all those planes, Karol. Somehow, I haven't seen this thread before.
I especially like the B747 in Air Canada livery. Looks excellent.

I ended up finishing and sprucing up some of old recolors of this Bf-109G kit .In process I found excellent review of Eduard kit of Bf-109 finished in Lapland War colors.Based on pictures here is my recolor.
Eduard 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 by Fernando Rolandelli What was the point of extra black camo?Same like any other camo-to break up the outline.I can see effect in early morning dim light .Strange thing is that I haven't found any info on other Finnish planes sporting this extra camo.Possible local mod. |

And two more BF-109s.This time Hungarian G-6 and supposedly ROA used G-10.
Hungarians loved making pictures of their planes so there is plenty of those to make reasonably accurate guess as to markings .V 831 has been repainted many times and this is only one of looks it had.On other hand Russian BF-109 (ROA) is a pure guesswork.Afaik there is only one bad quality picture showing stacked fuselages of those before scraping.I think it's unlikely ROA pilots ever got to fly them operationally. |
