Murph's Model DC-10, original scale 1/118

Hi guys, I'm now presenting a Delta DC-10 beta build, designed by Aaron.
The original kit measures 18.5 inches in length, and thus 1/118.
The model that I'm showing is about 1/144 and it is some 15 inches long.
It's made out of photoprints that give the plane a glossy look.
There'll be two more DC-10 to come, let's wait and see.

Very nice, may be the others could be in your traditional 1/200 scale.
Excellent designer, excellent modeler!

For jetliners this size, I don't find too much difference building them, whether at 1/144 or 1/200. It would be more exciting to try 1/400 or go even smaller at 1/1000 like those I did here. http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/604709-post12.html
Well maybe some other time, perhaps.

It looks great, beautiful work. Other guys say that the photo paper has some cons, for example it is not easy to curve and difficult to join. Is that so? Your model looks great ,so my question.

Great build as usual Papermate, especially working with photo papers. I can't seem to get a handle on using them.

Murph the redesign really displays how well the pieces fit together.
