So if this Mustang was originally Marek's old design and it is so enjoyable, then how perfect must be his new Vengeance Mk.I in 1/33? Few days ago my grandson bought that plane(in Australian camo) as a gift for me. Looks fantastic in the pdf file. Soon I should have it laser-printed on the same good cardboard as the one used on "Margie Maru". Main wings are not glued to the fuselage(just dry-attached for photos) so there will be no problem with those inserts. Thanks for your generous offer. I'm not sure if I'm interested in another P-51; I have one with bubble canopy finished and two more in my boxes(one from Fly Model in American markings from Italy, and the second one from MM in RAF/Polish markings). They're B and C variants if I remember. I went through your store and I guess the one thing I could build and you need photos of it is Gabreski's P-47(preferably late 1944). In my 60 year modeling experience I've built only one Thunderbolt, about twenty years ago and I still have it. However I could build one of your Red Tail P-51s from Tuskagee Airmen too. These are only remaining Mustangs I'd like to add to my collection.

I've got one more photo update for you. It's the last one. Next time you'll see the finished plane.
I had some little problems; I couldn't find parts: 50, 78, 41. I don't know, maybe I missed them somehow. Anyway, in the end I've made them all from scratch and other unused parts. Should be ok.

As I said before, this is one of my very first Mustang kits, and an early refit of Marek's design.
As such, it has the old style Spinner (not my updated one that looks a lot better...I'm sorry I didn't send you that) and the old Wing Root Fairings. (I have made newer versions of those too ...but not for this particular plane) The missing parts you are quoting are because you are referring to the Updated Instructions that are not intended for this particular model. Those Instructions are in the Upgrade kit I sent you. I sent you the Upgrade Kit, mainly for the recessed wheels wells. Its actually intended for my "2nd Generation B/C Mustangs"...Margie Maru isn't one of those. Regardless, you have done the best you can with this kit...and done a great job in my opinion. Your cockpit and Canopy look great!

Witam Panie Zenonie, proszę mi podpowiedzieć skąd ma Pan taki fajny, miękki miedziany drut używany przy montażu goleni podwozia. Poszukuję czegoś takiego. Pozdrawiam, Marek.
Translated by Google Translate and rickstef Hello Mr. Zenon, please tell me where you got such a nice, soft copper wire used when mounting the chassis of the chassis. I am looking for something like that. Greetings, Marek. Last edited by rickstef; 07-20-2019 at 04:38 PM. Reason: Please write any comments in the forum in English |

I have used small Paperclips (uncoated) and electrical wire (remove the plastic coating. I also have "Flower Stem Wire" ...it is green and about .45mm. Myślę, że pytasz o drut wewnątrz podwozia? Użyłem małych spinaczy do papieru (niepowlekanych) i przewód elektryczny (usuń plastikową powłokę. Mam też „Flower Stem Wire” ... jest zielony i około 45 mm.

Mustang is finished. I think I don't have anything more to say about the model. Everything has been already said, so I'll only conclude it in few words. Very enjoyable kit, beautiful textures, and not for 1/33 beginners.
Dave, hope you'll like the result and the pictures. Just like with your Texan(the one I built some time ago), all these photos below were taken by my grandson, Kacper. If you're interested in any of these for a cover, let me know.
