One For Elliott.

This one is now available from Ecards: 1/100 Boeing B-17G 'Sentimental Journey' in memory of the late Glenn 'Elliott' Merrill. It's another S&P repaint but this one is not another resize of Bruno's 1/300 model but based on his 1/100 'commercial' version: #267. His kit is actually this plane (44-83514) but I added some mods; ie: nose art, landing gear and redid the cockpit windscreens and the tail gunner's position. This is a test build and any issues you can spot here have been rectified in the final draft.
While I can't take credit for the original design, and I know I can safely say Bruno would fully endorse the following sentiment, I hope the sales of this repaint contributes in some way to the legacy of Elliott with all proceeds of it's $1 sale price from Ecards going to St. Baldrick's Foundation children's cancer research.

As you said correctly, I fully endorse the sentiment.
Well done, mate.

Garry,
While I'm a fan of the Liberator, I have to say that your take on "Sentimental Journey" is absolutely gorgeous! It is a fitting tribute to Elliot.

Thanks all.
And thanks to the folks at Ecards for preparing the terrific presentation page for the listing of this model on their site. This was my first submission and I was a bit in the dark as to what I needed to do. I just sent the model PDF's and a single photo and they did the rest.
