Tip tanks
The Fouga was a short range aircraft and as such it needed additional fuel. As was done in the 50's, it was common to place the fuel tanks at the wing tips. For the Fouga / Tzukit, this was a distinguishing mark along with the butterfly tail.
Here it is    and installed    now an overall view   Almost finished. Isaac

Small details
The last phase is to add the many small scoops, antennas , mass ballances etc...... I only deleted the very small ones which I could barely hold on to with tweezers. But since you can't see them, its OK.

Done
The model build is now done.
Most of the build is relatively straight forward. I made a few errors along the way ( such as the canopy windshield should have had a better arch to fit a bit lower ). Only modification made is the addition of the landing gear which required changes to the wing spars. A very enjoyable build of a pleasing looking airplane. And I really like the operational rendition ( dirt, oil, hydraulic, wear ) Bravo to Yoav on this beautiful design. A fine addition to the Israeli Air Force models he designed over the years.  Isaac

A great looking model. I would say the canopy looks great, no errors that I can see. Yoav does design a great models, you definitely did this one justice. Beautiful photos too.
