Fascinating and involved process Mor.

Jumping a bit ahead here, have you thought out yet how to tackle the dreaded wing surface corrugations? On 1/100 TBD's they can just be drawn on but that may not be convincing in this scale.

Enjoy seeing your style of creation. It turns out to be an airplane with an interesting history, yesterday I watched the opening of "Against the Sun" where the plane stars, at least in the first few minutes ...

I am guessing that's how it was done in the days before computers... fascinating and very labor intensive. Makes me value vintage kits that much more.
