More update on this one..

The cockpit is done for the moment, with more detailing after the fuselage will be ready.

.

Concentrating now on the fuselage,

Next two sections up to the tail are done, but have some matching issuse to resolve.

You will get there. So far it looks very promising.

Side question: Did onboard equipment in this plane include flares?I'm not talking about gun flares,I mean much larger ,long burning flares used for target illumination for battleships and coastal artillery. If so ,where was dispenser for those located and what was its naval designation?

The work is progressing nicely and the results so far are outstanding but I just have to ask... Is that masking tape at the rear end of this fuselage section?!?

Thanks Butelczynski, Yoav and Falco.

Regarding the questions,

@ Butelczynski - I don't think this type used flares for illumination. Usually it was done by floatplanes from battlships or cruisers. From 1942/43 the US Navy's radar was developed enough to use it for long range targeting, at list at sea battles.
@ Falco - Don't see any masking tape, can you mark it?

Thanks againe,

Shalom Mor

The fuselage is almost done, only one section at the front is missing. The two rear parts were a challenge, one of them done 3 times before I was happy with the result.

Next are the horizontal and vertical tails, and first chanse to test my idea for the corogated skin.

I was asking about the area marked in the attached photo... looks like masking tape to me.

Thanks Rata, Falco and Boris.

Falco, this is a bonding strap for the next part, I bend them inside.
