Thanks Asaf. Now after this "crisis" is over, I can continue with the model progress.
Main effort was the inner wing sections. Design is done, and building the sections was part of the assembly, and not as a separate sub-assembly. Main reasone were the landing gears wells and thier location that interfere with the wing spar. And the final resut for the wings inner sections Maine effort is shifted to the cockpit detailing. Hello all,
Main effort was the cockpit. Front panel is made of two panels - upper and lower, with a flat table in between. Continue working on the gunner seat and mor detailes. Added a section to the fuselage and the wings root fairings. The trailing edge is round and not sharp as usually in other aircrafts, so planing to do it from two parts. My target is to finish this model to the end of this year, and than go back to some unfinished models - P39, F8F, SE-5a and to organize the Texan II model. Shalom Mor |

Maine effort from the last post was doing the wing with the corrogated skin protrusion.
For the precise location of the protrusion from the inside, I bonded on the inside only the corrogated lines, and perform the protrusion with a sharp tool. Building the wing was done on the model. Started with the upper skin to make sure that the red line match, and than edded the spar and rib. And the final result of the right wing Shalom Mor |

Thanks Yoav,
The US Navy aircraft up to ww2 were very colorful. Each squadron had defferent tail, nose and wing colors. Shalom Mor |
