Australian Vengeance Mk.I is finished. It took me almost one month.
My model is done in standard/classic option. Like I said in my earlier posts, it can be also done with opened bomb bay and positionable ailerons, elevators and rudder. In my opinion, all these additional options are only worth if you decide to make a diorama. Otherwise, they're absolutely not needed. And not to mention that they make the build way more difficult. Thanks for following this thread, I hope you enjoyed it. Final photos were taken by my grandson, Kacper(PacificWind).

Beautiful work, Zenon! I was particularly happy to see you build this aircraft that served in the Southwest Pacific Area during the Pacific War. You certainly did a fine job on this one.
I look forward to your next project. Don |

Thank you Don, eatcrow2 and Doug.
I don't know what will be next; I have a lot of models to do, mostly planes but there're some vehicles too. Among them, there're two Airacobras, Wildcat, Devastator, Sunderland, Yak-7, Il-2, Do-18, Bf-109(Spanish), two P-40(C and M if I remember correctly) and many more aircraft... I also have some vehicles and tanks like Pz.IV, Tiger I(late version), Dodge WC54 MP, Diamond T960 truck... In short, tons of models I've been collecting since early 1960s. The next thing I (or my grandson) will post is our collaborative scratch project based on the old Renault R35 in 1/25 scale from Maly Modelarz. Tank is almost done so there's a possibility that it may be finished in 100% next week.

Good work on interesting subject. How was fit of parts in this model?Marek does good work with graphics on his models but I'm told fit of parts can be an issue.
That CAC Boomerang-is that old GPM (literally) repainted?I did that model when it came out.I had lots of problems with it and didn't finish it.I have another one in boxes if I feel like doing it again. |

Thanks Ray, Vinalssergio155, Rata and Butelczynski.

Most of parts in the Vengeance fitted perfectly. The only problematic area was the engine cowling and the engine itself. Boomerang was built from those old uncolored kits hand-drawn by various independent designers. These models were popular in Polish newsagent's in 1980s and 1990s. They didn't have any names like Modelik, GPM, Maly Modelarz. Only a name of the designer. I still have a few of these rare models; He-111, A7M Reppu and I-16. All in 1/33 scale.
