New update.
Here you can see mostly the work on the engine and landing gear.
I've decided to make the engine from scratch(drinking straws) because it's easier in my opinion. The parts included in the kit are too small for me. What's more, after some measurements of these parts, I think they could not fit properly in the cowling.
I'll show the finished(after painting, etc.) engine in the next updates, before mounting it in the cowling. The result should be similar as in my Boeing Stearman(last picture). I used the same method with drinking straws.

Hello Zenon, excellent build of one of the esoteric planes of WWII. Designing by Vultee but constructed entirely by Northrop in his California plant it´s one of my favourites planes. Now one question: does anybody knows if there is a small scale version of this plane? Congratulations and waiting the final steps. Tigertony100.

Roman Vasyliev (der kampfflieger) used to have an excellent 1/100 Vengeance in the markings of 21 Squadron RAAF (MJ-M) when the squadron was flying out of Nadzab, New Guinea, in 1944.

Roman's graphics are so good that the model can easily be upscaled to 1/72 or 1/48-1/50.

I can't find his website, but here is his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/kampfflieger/

He is also a member of this Forum, so you can send him a private message to check on the current availability of this model. http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/m...pfflieger.html

Good luck with your search, Tony. I'd love to see you build Roman's model.

Don
