Nobi 1/100 b-52h

Hi everybody. I finally finished the awesome 1/100 B-52H designed by NOBI and wanted to share a couple of pictures.
This kit is definitely not for beginners and unfortunately I am a beginner, so I really struggled with the engine pods . . . it took my seven tries to get four half-way acceptable engine pods to attach. Even with that, the ones I finished are pretty rough around the edges, which explains why I don't have any close ups of them.
I now have it flying happily over my man-cave with my Gary Pilsworth B-52H.
Somewhere down the line I will probably want to give another shot to building some acceptable engine pods and if they turn out better, I'll go ahead and finish the rest of the plane. I would recommend that anybody starting this kit go ahead and plunge into the engines first and get them out of the way and then do the rest, because it will be a breeze after that.
P.S.: Would love to see some of the really talented builders on this site do a tutorial on building the engine pods.
Thanks for looking,

Looks like a very decent build of Nobi's model for beginner. I hear ya on the engine pods! They were probably the trickiest parts of the entire model when I did mine a while back. Here's a link to my build thread; you may glean something helpful from it.

Looks to me like you did a great job on the B-52. Nice looking bird.

Thanks for the kind comments all. Rata, your build thread of the engines is exactly what I needed! I remember it from when you first posted but could not find it on the site . . . which is my fault. I think I'll print off an engine and try it with your suggestions, which are brilliant and address all the problems I was having.
I give all the credit for being able to get this kit together to the designer! The fit was fantastic, especially those giant wings.
If anybody has any interest in trying one of these giants, I highly recommend it . . . just need to review Rata's build thread of the engines first!

That's good news. Glad it helped. And at this point if this is the standard of your building work I know you'll go on to be one of the standout builders on this forum.

E-Springs
Just looking over your B52 picks and was wondering were did the wing tanks
come from? The kit I bought from E-cardmodels doesn't have them. But there is a place marked on the wing for them.
