New project - vautour iia

For the past few weeks I have been working on the model of the VAUTOUR.
I took my 1:50 scale model and raised it to 1:30 scale.
Of course I made a lot of changes to it and adapted to a larger scale.

Today I finished drawing the last file and I give you an example of the file of the model's nose and body.
This is a first sketch and I believe there will be many more changes.

Next week, hope to start building a white prototype to see the fit of the parts and if more repairs are needed.

best regards

YOAV

For those who don't remember, this is my 1:50 scale model.
The larger model will have the same coloring scheme with the same number, but much more invested in coloring and detailing, and of course with a transparent canopy .... but without landing gears.

Cool Looking forward to it

Yoav

I loved your 1/50 scale Vautour so much, that I scaled it up to 1/33 and built it while I was in Japan.

here it is:

Looking forward to a much improved version. Of course, I will build it with the gear down, so I will use the 1/50 scale gear and scale it up to your 1/30 scale.

One thing for sure, the wings will not fit on an A4 sheet in their entirety. I barely made it at 1/33 scale.

Your attention to detail and ability to turn it into a scale model is second to none Yoav.

Isaac....About the wing.....

You're right, it doesn't fit in the size of the A4 page so I split it into two parts.
1.wing base to the engine
2.the other part from the engine to the edge of the wing.

I divided it not in a straight line, but according to the outline drawn on the wing, in order not to damage the overall look of the wing and not cut panels in the middle.

YOAV

this is how the wing looks on a file bigger than A4 page.

And here you can see the division of the wing into two parts, the wing base to the engine and the wing continuation.
