Falco's Nobi Builds

What have I been up to? Nothing much just taking some time to show Nobi kits some love... I build these two while I wait for S&P to finish his Japanese Fan Service Series. Nobi invested heavily into the WWII Japanese Aviation Sector and I want to show my appreciation by building all of the Japanese kits that I have from his collection (1 example of each... not every paint scheme). The display stands are ultra cheep 1 piece design by me made using a single sheet of card stock... not very sturdy but gets the job done.

Those models look terrific Falco. Those display stands look really smart too. Mind if I pinch your idea?

Those look really good! I look forward to seeing more of your builds of Bruno's models of Japanese aircraft. Japanese aviation history is an area of particular interest to me.

Thank you everyone... I am currently building the next Japanese kit from Nobi’s collection but I won’t reveal which one until it’s done! You guys are welcomed to guess until then... I have all of his Japanese kits so I am looking forward to see who guesses correctly. I will even offer a reward... I had commissioned a Mirage F-1 and an Alphajet from Nobi and I will reward the correct guess with one copy of his choice... Nobi has not released his versions yet so they are currently unavailable anywhere so that is a hell of a reward don’t you think. But there is a catch! The winner must build and post photos of his trophy and also each person gets only one guess... each person with the correct guess will receive a copy of his choice so as to allow all to participate.

Let the games begin!!!

nice job on 2 nice couple birds....well done.

when are you going to build one of my models.
yes, there are in big scale, but they are easy to build, and they are free too.

The stands are nothing special... So simple I refuse to take credit for designing them. Rata I will post photo of how I make them and feel free to use this style of stand as you see fit. Make small ones, large ones, colored ones, your imagination is the limit. Yoav I have to be honest with you, your models are so realistic they scare the crap out of me. I actually had nightmares thinking about that F-16 of yours... But don't worry I am building up my courage and skills to tackle them soon.

try my 1:30 OURAGAN.
it is simply model and very easy to build.....you don't have to worry at all.
the MYSTERE and the SUPE MYSTERE are also easy to build.

The 3 models I mentioned above are easy to build as the small models of 1:50 scale and they have the same simple building method.

the F-16 is more complicated to build and very tricky because of his special fuselage.....Which is why I don't recommend starting with him.

best regards

YOAV
