Thank you everyone.
I did this SP-ASK because of those magnificent pictures floating on the net.For some reason pre-war monoplane airliners are not done all that often, biplanes seem to show once in a while.LOT is no exception so at least I had a chance to do this. Sooner or later I hope to do Czech,Swiss and maybe Spanish airliners+bright orange KLM (with big help of Yukonjohn) but first I'l like to finish two already started. |

Butelczynski,
I have found the following pictures. They are from a Dutch book on the DC-2 (N. Geldhof & P.C. Kok "Douglas DC-2"). The captions say: Kielvlak en richtingsroer----------- Fin and vertical rudder Gewijzigd ------------------------ Modified Normaal --------------------------Normal The caption with the photo of SP-ASK "Pegasus" reads: "DC-2-115F (Pegasus) constr. nr. 1377, as delivered in July 1935 as SP-ASK to the Polish Airline LOT". |

Excellent. Thank you very much. That's exactly what I thought they did. They just added one more rib,I didn't where it was anchored. Much obliged.
Does the book say anything about changes to horizontal stabilizers? |

I am learning a lot (do you see what I did there?) from this thread - great modeling and interesting aviation history combined!
