I could use 75 Gal tank in small scale.I can't find one below 1:33 scale (yet).

btw-those tanks have been fitted to Spits on rare occasions but just one in centreline fitting. Not sure if field mod or approved one.

When I need a part that can't readily by modified or drawn up in any scale I run to my larger spares box and reduce it and simplify the part as needed. sometimes works a bit better than designing by hand and lots of trial and error.

You're perfectly right. I'm searching for Spitfire's fuel tanks some time, but unfortunately I've found nothing :-(

So the first piece is done. Spit Mk. Ia of the Battle of Britain, 19th Squadron, pilot Sgt. Jennings. A few notes on this plane's range:
1. I already have 17 blanks (= versions) already. How many of them will be camouflage variants, I do not know yet. I'll see how I like it. But I think 25-30 certainly.
2. It's horrible to repeat each task here so many times, so I no longer have the power to paint an instruction drawing. But I think that nobody will mind, the model is quite simple. Just be careful, do not miss the rear view mirror :-D
3. As for the dirty surface, I think not everyone will like it. That's why I decided to give the parts dirty from the exhausts and weapons as an alternative. Everyone can choose.
4. Even in my sleeping I dream about Spitfires, so keep your fingers crossed so that they do not become a nightmare for me and I have the future power to the Bf-109, Hurricanes .... oops, now I reveal the secret .... :-D
