And let's continue the Japanese ride while I'm having fun!
No, don't worry. What I promised, I'll deliver.... But now I'm enjoying it too much. And here's the proof - another type. The Kawasaki Ki-48 Sokei light bomber. Five versions in all: - Kawasaki Ki-48-I Sokei (Nippon Rikugun Kōkūtai, 3. Chutai, 8. Hikō Sentai, Burma, Summer 1942) - Kawasaki Ki-48-I Sokei (Nippon Rikugun Kōkūtai, 75. Hikō Sentai, China, October 1941) - Kawasaki Ki-48-I Sokei (Nippon Rikugun Kōkūtai, 90. Hikō Sentai, Tak AB, Thailand, January 1942) - Kawasaki Ki-48-IIb Sokei (Nippon Rikugun Kōkūtai, 1. Chutai, 90. Hikō Sentai, Sumatra, April 1945) - Kawasaki Ki-48-IIb Sokei (Nippon Rikugun Kōkūtai, 2. Chutai, 34. Hikō Sentai, New Guinea, Autumn 1942)

Somehow I missed Ki-48. I didn't think Bruno made one so I'm happy to see your recolors Jaromir.
Too bad you didn't make a post war Chinese one. Ki-48 was one of few Japanese aircraft that stayed in Chinese communist service for sew more years. I think one surviving example of the type is on display in Beijing. Other one is in Moscow according to Wiki Last edited by Butelczynski; 04-13-2024 at 12:16 PM. |

Real nice Jaromir! The Ki-45 to me was one of the most impressive Japanese types of WWII.
Karol, Bruno did do the Ki-48:

Another model was:
- simple design - simple camouflage - simple markings. So cool. A quickie. - Kawasaki Ki-102 Ko (Nippon Rikugun Kōkūtai, unknown unit, Tokyo area, Summer 1945) - Kawasaki Ki-102 Otsu (Nippon Rikugun Kōkūtai, 3. Hikō Sentai, Noshiro AB, Spring 1945) - Kawasaki Ki-102 Otsu (Nippon Rikugun Kōkūtai, 3. Chutai, 45. Hikō Sentai, Hokota AB, August 1945)
