Very good work.Too bad printer went nuts on colors. They remind me of old Techmod Spit Mk IX-also great design for times but printers went bonkers on colors.

That model has been repainted by Marek into number of versions.Look them up,they might show up on ecards.

Wonderful craftsmanship. A beautiful bird.

Nice work! It would be interesting to look at the assembled Yak-9 or Yak-1 by Marek, nobody seemed to glue them at all

Great thread... I have a lot of Marek kits but I have yet to put one together. They look intimidating but your thread gives me that "it will be alright" feel if I attempt to build one.

Thank you very much, gentlemen!!

Falco, I'd love to see you build them!! Haven't seen a lot of his kits being built.

I had no idea how to put this model together when I first recieved it. The hardest part was understanding the structure of the aircraft, so you have a clear view on what goes where. Luckily, my father had some Spitfire books that have many great pictures. One of them was a Haynes Owner's Workshop Manual. You should grab a few of them, too! They're really helpful.
