Urgent Question
You know the cardstock that is used as the back of notepads? What is it called and where can I source it? I would hate to buy a bunch of notepads and mutilate them for my sick and twisted needs...LOL

if you can't wait until tomorrow or 2 days from now, visit your local Comic book retailer, and pick up a pack of backer boards
all white, usually acid free

Hobby Lobby sells large sheets of chip board in the back by the picture framing supplies with the mat board. They will even cut it down to smaller more manageable sizes if you ask them. If you don't have a hobby lobby close by, any picture framing store should be able to help.

Comic book backer boards are tradionally used in combination with a plastic sleeve by comic book collectors to store their collection. They are inserted into a plastic sleeve along with the comic to provide extra stiffness and prevent bending.
Paper model builders often use them for laminating parts. They are a good choice because they are clean, easy to cut and are acid free archival paper. They are usually about .022" thick. Just a bit over. 0.5 mm. |
