1/144 Yak-1000

Here is my build of the Yakovlev Yak-1000. This kit is available from Roman Vasyliev (der Kampfflieger).
I re-scaled it from 1/100 to 1/144.
As this model was previously done by gomidefilho in 1/100, and another YG model done by Isaac,
I will not talk much about the kit itself.

Only modifications to the kit were the addition of the instrumentation/pitot tubes. I did cut out
the inside areas of the of the wing outrigger wheels.

This will be the last build for a little while. Tuesday I will be having hand surgery on my knife hand,
and am unsure oh how long or what recovery will be like. I am, however, looking forward to no
more hand pain! (Maybe my builds will improve with the no pain option!)

And now, the Yak.

Outstanding model!

Best wishes for a quick and complete recovery. Don't push it! Take time to let everything heal fully before you try slicing paper again, Flyboy.

Tiny model.

I built the 1/33 scale version of it ( YG model by MaksArt ) and it was small as well.

You know it never flew!

Did you use integral tabs or separate tabs? Looks like separate tabs but I can't really tell. I love the "tarmac" or "ramp" it's sitting on... very realistic!
