Patience my little grasshopper,

This is just your first attempt, and I agree some parts are difficult, like the engines., try modify and simplify them (I had to do that for my Bristol Bombay in 1/400).

Have a look at the aircraft Joachim Frerichs' aircraft carriers in 1/500, including a bimotor S-2.

And if you look at his gallery it also has a Ju-88 in that scale.

But this type of modeling is not for everyone.

All those parts are just too small to manipulate comfortably and precisely.
Ah, but then the DC-3 needs a larger scale.
