Place holder for a P-40B

At this scale, this is what looks like a P-40 Kittyhawk. The model is from
a FLY’N THINGS
recolor, which may be a recolor of Rigby or a dime weight flying model (if someone know let us know).

The RAAF used the P-40B Tomakawk that has a distinct nose, but bare with me, I didn't have one when I started the project. Nevertheless by now I have Bruno's and I remember that indeed I have one replica from the classic Micromodels series from WWII!

The Aussies did a lot of damage both on the air and strafing airfields in Lebanon and Syria, being the super-predator in that theater. Included is the trio of fighters from the Commonwealth in Levant.

ps: don't hold your breath for the Tomahawk ;-)

Thank you very much Rata:

But what to do next.
Support for the Levant campaign with a Bleinheim or a Lysander (from Bruno)?

Or something from Operation Torch like a FAA Fulmar or an Albacore (from Gerry)?

Maybe a Potez, but which?
Transport, light bombing and observation or the newest 63 series (from Bruno)?

Or maybe something from the Franco Thai War (from Bruno)?

What do you think?

ps: or revisit the Curtiss H-75 for the defense of Dakar :-)
with the right camouflage (from Rata)
The recolor of Bruno's A-20 into a DB-7 is far far away :-(

Inter Theater Support

Thank you for your comments, really appreciated.
I think the simplest to build would be the Fulmar, and maybe the Albacore; following the Bleinheim, although that nose and the engines are a challenge; following the Potez 63 series, the same as the Blenheim, but the tiny twin rudders complicates the build; then the Lysander due to the installation of the wings; then the Potez 25, biplane, but unlike the Albacore the upper wing is not connected to the fuselage; and finally the Potez 650, the connection of the wings to the fuselage and those hanging engines!!!
None of these are cut so patience.

Nevertheless, some time ago I did this plane. It was an important transport/bomber that no doubt was around Palestine carrying officers and supporting troops. It also served the famous SAS!

Could you recognize it?

Bristol Bombay. It was one of my first Bruno purchases.

validation

Just to validate the inclusion of the Bombay.
Look at second 48 of the following video:
De Gaulle in Syria after the fall of Vichy Government.
Truly a VIP transport, which included the Greek Royal Family (maybe including the Queen Mother of Spain)!
