It is better that both of you are changed to the dark side of the force, by vectorizing your recolors we can all use them. Pablo, you said that Inkscape would be addictive, but I saw you very addictive at the moment. Keep coming with more planes of this esoteric and not too much known episode!!!!!. Regards,Tony.

Unless I'm mistaken, the big advantage of vector over raster comes into play when enlarging a design. All my recolours are of 1/100 models which print out in that scale (at least to my eyes) as a perfectly acceptable reproduction.
As I said in my last post and echoing Pablo, if anyone wants to vector my repaints for better enlargement reproduction, then they're welcome to do so. Garry G.

South African Air Force's "Vichy" aircraft
It is not well known perhaps, that the aircraft destined, or on the way to France in 1940 were diverted to the South African Air Force instead of the Vichy. The Curtiss 75 "Mowhawk" was used to equip new flight training schools back in South Africa, and the Martin Marylander served in North Africa campaign.

Yes, Curtiss 75 equipped some SAAF units, others went to India. We have some paper models of the class.
But regarding the Martin 167/Maryland we don't have any that I can recall. Hopefully one of these days a designer would have compassion and produce one. The only users of the Maryland as far as I know were France (including Vichy), the SAAF, and the RAF (and some token in the FAA). Maybe someone even may consider it for their French collection! |

Ryan Short commissioned a Martin 167/Maryland in Royal Navy colors and markings from Aaron Murphy (I think) and a Baltimore from Roman Vasyliev. I purchased both (and co-commissioned the Baltimore). My computer is in the shop and I can't access my backup files, but if Ryan is guarding this push, he may weigh in and let us know if the Maryland is still available.
