F-14 Tomcat revisited
While wondering what the next project should be I heard a cry from my already printed "to do" file. The first attempt of Bruno's F-14 was the enterprise tomcat but it was buggered up the first 3-4 attempts.
While looking at the parts there was a couple areas that still needed a tweak. I separated the tail fins from there leading edges, re-edited the rudders so they folded to the back of them instead of the front. I scratch built the phoenix fuselage missile rails and re-armed here for long range bomber hunting. here she is .... |

Pair of thirsty tomcats ready to be placed on deck, or a comparison of the first 2....

Superb CMDR. On top of producing a first-class F-14 you really prove the old, boring saying of 'practice makes perfect'!

Fabulous , No doubt you've reached an impressive result.
I just wanted to know where the difference in the nose area near the canopy is, marked by arrows. |

Outstanding... You did a really job with your F-14s. I only hope I can do it as good as you when I attempt it.

asaf, the difference is the newer tomcat, the left one, has the canopy more correctly placed on the fuselage. Falco, it took many false starts to get here. the 2 biggest hurdles are the fwd fuselage to aft fit, this needs trimmed and dry fit, many times. and the aft fuselage assembly in general. still haven't reached a good sequence to build that up.
