da Vinci’s Flying Machine Paper Constructs

Came across this kit in an independent bookstore in Essex Junction, VT.
13 simple paper constructs of various da Vinci machines.
Beautiful, vintage style art, the pieces simply punch out.
Includes a nice booklet with information on da Vince, building tips, and instructions for each model.
Even though simple, the instruction could be more clear on a few, already anxious over a couple of them but think they’ll be fun and a nice diversion. It’s been ages since I built anything in paper, no matter how simple.

I did finally locate it on Amazon also, tricky to do. Says it takes a month to ship(!) but also says a kindle version is on the way. I didn’t know you could print from Kindle.

I built a large version of a DaVinci two wing flying machine a while back.

That looks like a lot of fun.

Why is it that instructions usually omit the step -- A miracle happens.

For the most part, I really like the Canon models, but on several there is a spot where you really have to scratch your head on how they got from the last step to the next.

Good luck and let us know how they fly

Thanks for the links Doug. The two-wing machine looks fascinating!
Vermin King. Yes, I have their da Vinci downloaded and <looks> straightforward but sure it will be tricky.
Will cut my teeth on these first.
