Asiana 777-28E/ER

When I was living in the UK as a little kid, we came home to see our grandparents occasionally. I've flown on a few different airlines, but Asiana was our regular service. As a result, I have been on a total of 9 flights on the 777-200ER with the same airline. That may be a small number for some, but for a kid, that was mindblowing.

I grew very fond of the 777, I can still remember the smell of the cabin!! Unfortunately, they don't fly the aircraft between ICN and LHR anymore, all of the OZ521/522 flights are now operated on A350s.

A special memory was flying on one that still had the old 1988-2006 livery, which was around 2010. I remember being a bit confused, since I was so used to the current scheme. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the trip a lot.

I started working on this repaint of the reworked Canon model by Kav61, but I'm not sure about the colour.
I extracted the colour from a timetable that I found at Airline Timetable Images - List of Airlines
But anyway, here's a snapshot of the forward fuselage. I shall be working on this project very slowly.

Wooo great design, I will be happy to wait for further photos and a finished model, and a PDF file, including painting B777 I do not have in my big collection yet

Here's the test of the fuselage printed on office paper, and I found a few errors. Man, I'm tired!!

For the first test build that isn't bad at all! Looks very cool.

Just felt like trying this, I wanted to see how I could be able to express the fuselage colour, which isn't white. Asiana says it is "cool grey".

Another interesting fact, the old livery's colour was called "warm grey", even though it looks more brown.

Wow I had no idea that the fuselage color wasn’t white

It seems "de rigeur" now, for I noticed regarding the livery of new KLM aircraft, such as 787, that the colour of the fuselage belly looks white, but is actually also a very, very light grey. Is that fashion or function, does anybody know?

Man, I never knew that, either!! I couldn't find any information about it.. So I presume it's just fashion. The grey tone looks cool to me.

I did a quick test of the aft fuselage, and it doesn't look too bad. The two schemes look really cool together.
