Boeing 747-400, Lufthansa, Marek - WIP

Hello

I might be loony for starting this, but I felt like a longer term build challenge.

The kit's design is typical, just the internal reinforcing is beefed up to cope with the larger size. From what I can see the wings appear to be removable. The sheer size makes building a challenge, but not difficult.

I saw this kit show up on Zarkov's store but it disappeared before I was ready to purchase it... Where did you acquire it? I want it too. Also there was another Russian airliner that I saw also during that time... suffice to say I want it also.

Great start on the front of the fuselage, Niki. This will be a big bird. I'm looking forward to seeing this big bird come together.

On Mareks' site it was around $2 or €2 cheaper and this probably issued a problem causing the withdrawal of the kit. Issue with Ecardmodels...?

Wim,

more than likely an exchange rate issue

It'll be interesting to compare this to the canon 747
