I think I saw a White Knight paper model somewhere.
You'll need a piano wire inside the wings to support the structure.

Emil Zarkov and Roger Currell both have a version of SpaceShipOne and the White Knight

Neither one has a requirement for piano wire

S&P (Bruno) also has a Spaceship One and a White Knight One is his Catalogue (#489 and #490)
To me it seems that the Stratolaunch is in a slightly(?) bigger class that Spaceship one or two.
