Small progress with the Lightning - tbe dorsal spine was added at the top of fuselage and the canopy was prepared with a thin foil.

Some progress with the cocpit. It is quite complex one and I allready did the adaptation from fly model to WHM .
Many small parts need to be set.
The canopy frame was glued to a thin foil.

The main issue now is the cocpit build process and tbe adaptation of it from fly model to WHM model but it seems to work quite well. There are many small parts in the cocpit including panels joy stick and throttels !
As the canopy is ready I am very close to finish this model and I will surely add the 2 firestrike missiles below the front .

This plane is a tough one to build and you have done a great job.

I have had made two attempts at a paper Lightening (not this kit) and they both ended up in the bin as I could not get the shape right!

Dear Kevin - even the most experieced builder have such issues when they start to build a new model.
Some times we are doing a crucial mistakes and the polish instructions are very bad !!!

After a long brake I returned to finish this important model. The
cockpit is full with small parts but is almost done. Then the front will connect and the two firestrike missiles will be mounted.

Magnificent Yair! I don't know how several of you can face several projects at the same time, I tried it sometime but I make a tremendous mess haha.

The main part that I am working right now is the very busy Lightning cockpit that is crouded with all kind of boxes levers etc....

The cockpit compartment is almost done and was placed in the fuselage . The fuselage two parts were glued and the canopy is ready for gluing to the body. The head up display need to be build and the pilot stick and the canopy will be mounted.

The cockit was completed and canopy was glued , pitot and dorsal spine antena were mounted. Next two Firestrike missiles will be mounted on rails in the front.
