Murph's Models D558-1 Skystreak
Gang,
Here's my first completed model since March 11 shoulder replacement. This is Murph's Models D558-1 Skystreak in National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) markings. I downscaled the 1/30 original to 1/48. I also recolored part of the empennage to match the real aircraft. Also added instrument booms from plastic rod. Great kit to build! |

Looks like your shoulder is healing well.Making models is a good exercise. My left thumb is working perfectly due to many models made and I almost lost it all together 20 years ago.
Well fitted model.Nice stand too. |

Great job, looks fantastic! The shine is typical of the paper or applied something?

Colored control surfaces really jump out from overall white airframe.
