English electric Lightning WHM 1:48
The Lightning was an amazing fighter at the time with a vertical climb ability.
I started a new build diary on this interesting and special type. It is from the IAF magazine enlarge to 1:48 from original 1:50 and from WHM. Yair |

Hello Yair,
it is the first time I thought to see the kit of the english electric lightning from WHM. But I don't understand the origin of the kit. The flat pattern are from WHM and a kind of recoloring on picture resources of the IAF magazin? And I see on a pic some hebrew letters?? What is the original color scheme of the WHM kit, can you show this, that would be nice.

Hi you are right. This kit was specially designed by WHM for the IAF magazine in the early 60's so it is not available eleswhere !

Some progress with the lightning fuselage.
The cocpit place was cut and both the front and rear ends are complicated and need attention here and will folow later. Yair |
