Dear Wireandpaper thanks.
The dorsal spine was added.
The cocpits and canopy remained.

prepare of the canopy with a thin foil that gives excellent transparency into the cocpits.

Ha! The moment of truth: The canopy. Looks like a delicate process. Don't forget to color the edges of the frames.....

Is that the Wilhelmshafen F104 in one of the pictures of your air force, Yair? I built that one some 25 years ago and remember it was a very pleasant model to make, with an excellent fit.

Good luck with the steps to come.

Erik

Final steps - the canopy frame was glued to the thin foil ejection seats completed.
Head up display need to be added to the pilot and trainer cocpits and sticks.
Then the canopy will be mounted on top.

Magnificent work Yair! May I ask what you use to glue the frame to the canopy? I have many problems with that.

Dear Sergio - the gluing of the canopy to the frame is always a delicate Process. I use the familier UHU with a square paper part smeard with thin layer of glue and while
aligning the frame to the foil start by smearing the glue on the frame from below
and continue this way slowly until the whole part is done . When the part is dry the white connecting parts are glued.
The connecting of these white parts is done very close to gluing to the fuselage after checking the mountig and in the case of the AlfaJet from rear to forward again with small amount of UHU. It maybe sound a little complex but this method is good when there are no side slits which are dealt better by vac forming !

The Alfa Jet is finished. The cocpit parts
were put into place. Then the big canopy which is almost F-4 Phantom size was glued - something that requires very delicate work in order not to stain the foil.
