Alfa Jet 1:48 Geli

I always use to like French Jets.
They are always shape in a very sleek and streamlined way and the result is planes that are lookig very elegant.
The mirage IIIc has outstanding performance with Atar 9c engine with 6.2 tonmax thrust he can achieve mach 2.15 at 36000 feet altitude - more than any contender !
Ths Super Etendard can claim to be the first plane that can go Supersonic at hieght with a non afterburning Atar 9 of 5 ton thrust - up to mach 1.3 at 36000 feet !!!
Now the Alfa Jet is not supersonic but his Sleek shape is helping him to get a better range of flight due to the very low drag !!!

I have several models that I build in parallel in the last two months and as always I am writing about subjects that are related to each type and since all my models are built to the same scale of 1:48 it is easy to do comparition between them.
The Geli Alfa Jet is a trainer and I will build the British Hawk to compare with since this nish is a bit neglected at my current fleet.
