Kawasaki OH-1, Kisarazu AFB 20th Anniversary

I recently came across a JASDF website belonging to Miho Air Base. It's website offers three aircraft dressed in colors for the bases 50th Anniversary (Kawasaki C-1, NAMC YS-11, & a Raytheon T-400). All of them are located in this link

For some reason, this made me want to find a few more aircraft like this one, displaying exotic colors in celebration of the JASDF. However, I turned up no other models already predesigned wearing these colors, but given the fact Japan has quite a tradition of doing stuff like this to their aircraft, I figured it wouldn't be too hard to recolor some more aircraft like it. So I found one from Kisarazu Air Base, a Kawasaki OH-1 "Ninja" observation helicopter in celebration of their 20th Anniversary and settled on attempting that one. For the base model, I am using the only model of it's type that I can find anywhere. From Niku Mansei. They have a decent collection of "kids" models and slightly more difficult models such as this model, a Pz.KpfwVIII Maus and a Type 10 MBT.

cool repaint, I do love the look of the helicopter

I went to the link you put up, but only one aircraft is linked, the first two give me page not found errors
probably could find them by using the wayback machine

Looking forward to your build of the helicopter

Tested the fit of the artwork on the forward fuselage. Mind the lumpiness of the model, it was printed on regular printer paper, and it had an accidental run in with a bit of water.
Fitting seems good to continue though.
