Super Mystere B2 vs Mig 17 -early dogfights Years

Egypt started to receive the Mig - 17 in 1957 and soon it became the main jet fighter. Israel started to receive the Super Mystere in late 1958. The Egyptians had always mig -17 squadrons deployed in Sinai peninsula and as they used to enter Israeli airspace the Super Mysteres were scrambled to intercept the migs. The Super Mysters were able to reach good positions and opened guns fire and a scenario were the bullets were seen hitting the migs but
nothing happened repeated itself. After a long investigation it was found that the ammunition fuses were designed by the French to hit Russian bombers and therefore had delay which cause them to go out of the mig smaller fuselage diameter without exploding !
The fuses were replaced and the problem was resolved !
Also as many American pilots saw in Vietnam the mig -17 was very strong opponent and had
very good maneuverability in tight dogfights and caused much concern to the Americans in the air war in Vietnam despite being considered as old design.

I will put some pics of the two in 1:48 scale. The Super Mystere is IAFM model and the Egyptian mig- 17 is Electronic card models.

Super Mystere B2 vs Mig 19 images - History you can't tell

The Mig -19s and Super Mystere B2 have a lot of things in common. They are having afterburners which allowd them to reach supersonic speed at level flight !
Now during the early 1960s Super Mysteres were scrambled due to Egyption mig -19 intruding Israeli teritory but never a clash took place and the History missed what could happen in such a case. I allowd my self to take a shot of what might happen if ......

Nord Griffon 1500

The Nord was a ramjet propeld jet that had a very special performance when using this method of propoltion - mach 2.2 and 50000 feet in 2.5 min climb.
Also a canard wings among the first in any fighter were used !!!
