F-4B Phantom 1:48

Dear All - as a former technician of the weapon delivery systems of the IAF F-4E the Phantom is my big love in fighters !!!
This plane is so powerfull and served between 1969 - 2004 in the IAF some 35 years !!!
Here we have the B version of the Navy with the original short nose and the Infra-red sensor below the nose cone.
The scale is always 1:48 !!!
The ejection seats and the canopy frame need to be completed .

Fantastic! Another of my favorite planes, I don't know why but all the planes developed in those old days have something special.

Some details about the model - it is from Academy of Young Ukraine builders and the original scale is 1:48. In the next chapters I will relate to the glory service with the IAF.
The Phantom was credited with no less than 120 kills during his service with the IAF.

The Phantom was the hero of Vietnam war as the Sabre was the hero of Korea war.
Some are still plying today in private hands.
The type will be reviewed in details in the next chapters with the service in USAF and IAF.
