Douglas DB8A-3N, designed by Gerard Methorst, in 1/50
Greetings. Second model of the year, this magnificent Gerard design. Everything fits perfect, nothing to correct.
It is a very nice plane although the cable on the wings is aesthetically horrible. Another Gerard design with which I had a lot of fun building. Thank you so much to all. WIP fuselage. |

Beautiful model, and inspiring.
I started work on this model several years ago. Gerard was very helpful with advice and encouragement, but I was unable to complete it. This makes me want to make another try. Don |

Thank you very much gentlemen !! Don, try it, and if you have any questions just ask, I already have enough experience with Gerard's designs and I learned quite well to interpret his drawings.
Gerard told me that it was a somewhat complicated model, but I found it simple and Quick to build. The merit is of the design, nothing to adjust except some former a little smaller and something in the tail, the rest is great. |

Another excellent result on a Methorst design Sergio. It would be good to see the earlier A-17 developed from this design.

That kit turned out amazing. Another great build Sergio, it's a great looking aircraft.

Excellent build of an unsung workhorse of the early war years.
