First time looking in. It's really looking good. Eye catching with the D-Day stripes and British camo.

My cellphone, me and this project never seemed to be in the same place at the same time lately. Here's my update on this build.

Landing gear installed. No problems other than a few fiddly parts.

Canopy finished. I considered vac-u-forming, but decided to go old school like I did on the original. I did do a better job on the frame this time and attached it in the open position.

Only have the prop assembly and two bombs yet to build and install.

Got the props built. While I despise pedals for the most part, these actually work out really well.

I've decided not to build the two bombs for now. Maybe down the road a bit. So I am considering this one done at this point.

Final comments: 12 years of experience definitely changes your building habits and skills. Revisiting this model has shown me that. Since I don't have the first built to compare side by side, I do remember my final results differently.

This is a decent Maly kit and builds into a good model. It is not perfect though, and I can see why I like other designers works a little better. While generally a well thought out design, the inner structure could be improved to provide better support. And, while I like lots of detail, this kit could have been improved if some of the moving or posable features were eliminated.

Recommend this one as a stepping stone in to intermediate level models.
