BAE HAWK 200 Hobby model 1:48

Dear All - I started a new project of the BAE Hawk 200. The original scale is 1:33 reduced to
1:48 which is my standard scale. It will be nice to put it side by side with Alfa Jet !

The body rings were formed and the disks that formed the shape will still need to be inserted .

The Hawk 200 is a development of the 100 series and first flew in 1986.
Only 62 of the type were produced by British Aerospace..
The Hawk 200 is driven by the Adour non afterburning engine of 2.7 ton thrust.
Speed is mach 0.84 at low level and 1.2 in a dive at height. Climb rate 11500
feet per min . This small plane is the attack version equipped with a radar and can take all kind of bombs , anti ship and air to surface missiles and air to air AMRAAM and Skyflash !!! 1 Aden 30 mm gun is mounted as well .
The type is one seater and was built only as an export version for Indonesia , Malaysia and Oman.

Small progress with the Hawk fuselage.
The disks are ready to be inserted into the body rings .

the tail section was completed along with the radome and front section. This model is an 1995 issue of hobby model and is not a paragon for precise building but so far it is not too bad.
