I've completed a Soviet P-39, which I actually like better than The Virginian - a bit more interesting. To close the series out, I was going to do a version in the same scheme as the original model, but I can't find any pictorial evidence of a P-39 in those colors. I think the prototype was painted overall grey or perhaps aluminum, with the rudder having a vertical blue bar and alternating red & white stripes. Also had an anti glare panel down the nose. Sported early army air corps roundels on both upper wings (blue field, white star, red dot in center). I think I'll do that one, and zip all 3 liveries together along with the original newspaper image, and upload as one file.

The Rigby P-39 recolors are in the download section awaiting review. The file contains an image of the original newspaper kit, and American, Russian, and YP-39 prototype liveries.
