FJ-4B vs F-84F Thunderstrike

There is one common thing about the two - they both used to have the same engine J65 of 7700 lb thrust. Therefore they had simillar
performance but while the F-84F considered as not very successful was produced in huge numbers the Fury was not as only 370 were built. More than 3000 F-84F were produced and many were supplied to Germany France Turkey and other allies after the USAF F-100C
proved to be a much better plane.
The Fury 4B could take a much better weapon as the bullpap missiles along with many rockets
dispensers. Both types had a long range though.
The Fury was phased out fron front units by 1965 while the F-84F served with the ANG until 1971.
Only F-84F operation was with army de le air the French air force in October 1956 when they attacked Luxur base in South Egypt and destroyed the IL 28 bomber that were parking there during the Muskatier operation of the British and France to size the Suez canal from the Egyptian hands.
The F-84F is WHM origine and here with the Royal Danish airforce released in the IAF magazine. Scale is 1:48.

Fury vs Mystere - USA vs France Aviation industry

Comparing between USA to France during the 1950's is to compare a giant with a midget.
After WW2 the French Aviation industry was emerging from the
ashes while America was at top level in terms of building new planes. Planes as F-84 Thunderjet and F-86 Sabre ruled the sky over Korea. In France a Jewish small man named Marcel Bloch changed his name to Marcel Dassault and started to build planes that were simillar to the American jets - Ouragan compare with the Thunderjet and Mystere with the Sabre. The French planes were developed by Dassault with a time lag of some 3 years after but in some cases were better that the American rivals. Test pilots came from America ti test the Frebch mystere and gave positive feedback on the type.
I compare the Myster II with the Fury and we can see the simple and elegant lines with air intake splitter and no such device with the Fury. The Mystere had a round cutway and the Fury more oval shape.

FJ-4B Fury vs Sa'ar IAF

The two were develiped as an attack planes. The Fury as a fighter that use the Toss bomb methud and can carry the bulpapp misiles ( later prove to be useless for hardend targets ) and Sa'ar - the Israeli evolution of the Super Mystere from interceptor to attack plane.
The Fury engine J65 of 3.4 ton thrust and Sa'ar with J52 of 4.2 ton. The Sa'ar was faster at all altitudes - 0.97 mach vs 0.91 .
Climb of 15k feet per min vs only 9 k of the fury. Bomb load was 4000lb in both and in range the Fury had a longer radious of action action.
Of the two the Sa'ar was serving in Honduras till 1994 while the Fury lasted till 1965 only.
The Sa'ar is 3 meter longer and the span 1 meter smaller and the Sa'ar wing swept 45 degrees while the Fury 35 degrees.
The two are in 1:48.
