In my work, I supported many airlines around the world. At one point we worked with El-Al to select GE engines for their aircraft. Unfortunately it never happened. They have a strong relationship with Roles Royce and Pratt and Whitney.

I will attempt to build another El-Al airliner in the future as well as others.

When I get home, I will build larger scales with more details including the landing gear.

Thanks

Isaac

Exclamation Engines

The model provides simple engine nacelles. They are generic , but for this scale they are OK. Main difference is the fan blades look. The blades should have a slight curvature to them instead of straight.

Here is the actual engine:

Other than that, here it is:

and on

comment:
For some reason the engine pylons force the engines to cant upwards instead of straight or horizontal. I suspect that the proper curvature of the wings is always variable and the designer should have accounted for it. Since this is a "stand off" model displayed from afar, it is not noticeable. However, keep this in mind ( same thing for the Asiana model I built since both are the same Paper-Replika designs.

Cool Model completed

Since I will not build the landing gear for this model ( it would be displayed against the wall later on ), the model is complete.

Here it is

It was a fun build with very few complications and it opens up a whole new line of aircraft building for me ( commercial airliners ).
My only issue with these airliners is that every designer has their own scale and many do not state their scale in our Download section. I like the models a bit larger than 1/100, but that is a personal preference. I just like to be consistent in scale buildings ( without doing a whole research on the scales ).

Cool Display

Here is the final display of the two B777 as well as the Crimson Skies Devastator. All at my Son's place.

All mounted on the wall above the kitchen cabinets with lights.
