I've been giving some thought to redesigning it to add all the new stuff I've learned since.
If you redesign this kit please save grey/alu,unmarked version for recolors beside B&W.

The wing marking are correct on the Eastern Airlines plane and wrong on the Byrd plane. The "N" goes next to the fuselage.

Yes Erik this is the “Byrd Bird”. I had completed burnishing , cutting out of parts and started assembly before noticing the error. BTW, the wing markings are OK on the Eastern Airlines. It was important to complete the FG Tri-Motor for display this month at the IPMS Orange County chapter meeting. Their contest theme: Any Subject That Through Intentional Design Possesses Three power Plants.

Rather than wait for Fiddlers Green to correct, I placed the inaccurate wing on the bottom. I usually plow ahead assembling that which has been downloaded not waiting for corrections.
An example would be my Beta build of the Fiddlers Green B-10 now on display at the March AFB Air Museum. I wonder if visitors notice the vertical tail number 146 differs from 145 on the nose.

My quality check standards have gone up significantly since I did the B-10. That's why I send them out to professionals who catch the mistakes I miss.
