Very good reinforcement there, well thought out. In the connection to the fuselage in the lower part it is convenient to manufacture a joint, it becomes easier.

Thankyou. I rarely use joining strips, usually just to join the fuselage sections together. It blends the fuselage a little better.
speaking of which next up is the main fuselage. The sections are more or less oval with the centre sections flat on the bottom rounded up top. section wise they look like the heels of a shoe...

Canopy to follow. this kit fits rather well with minimal adjusting. The gaps seen in the SFFM lens are very exaggerated, on the actual kit things are smooth to the eye.
The engine "saddle" is then fitted into the rear canopy hollow, with the bottom edge glued up to the marked color line on the fuselage sides. The after section is glued down at the back fuselage section. this presents a small rise in the fuselage/hull aft. I think the next Skyhawk I might sand the aft edge of the engine housing a little thinner to blend better...

Perfect, a very clean fuselage. Bruno did a great job, everything is going very well. And it is not so complicated, delicate if it has many details.

Agreed. my hats off to Bruno's design process on this one. Not in any way to offend the master but a couple kits, the earlier ones particularly had a minor fix or two needed. of course my misinterpretation of the parts probably was a major factor.
Next up is the rudder assembly. straight forward 2 halves with a small heat deflector that straddles the exhaust pipe. starting to look like a scooter...

CMDRTED... When I saw how you reinforced the air intake by adding a straight portion connecting the tow sides my mind was blown. My point is that this is exactly what love to find when reading the different threads here. You sir are a paper model angel and you just gave me a boon for helping me with the S&P A-4s. In all my attempts it never occurred to be to do that...

Wings and things...
the next step is placing the wing assembly. On this kit it is a joy as the fuselage assembly just sits in the little hollow in the wing assembly. you have to tweak the tabs of the upper inner wings to fuselage fit.
coming up to the last lap are the little add on parts; The stores pylons, various antenna the 30mm cannon muzzles and on the outer pylons 500 lb mk 82 iron bombs...
