The wing structure consists of internal box 3 piece spar that goes thru the fuselage and supports the wings. The wing skin is a 3 piece as well as small winglets at the tips.


My modification is to add a wood sub spar that goes inside the wing spars to give it a much stronger support as the provided spar appears to be weak at the root.

I also decided to raise the dihedral and make it representative of an in flight position since it will not be built with landing gear.


Here are the structure parts installed.


wing parts , dry fitted and glued only at the root.

I believe the original scale is 1/100 but I could be mistaken. You can buy the Aer Lingus version from Bken but here is the free KLM model:
