Exclamation Engines

The engines for the Aer Lingus A330 are well know to me. They are the GE CF6-80E. It is a more capable ( thrust wise ) version of the CF6-80C2 powering the B767 and B747 variety.

here it is

and the pylons

however, the pylon angle of this kit ( and the same on the B777 from Paper-Replika ) is wrong and too much in the upward direction. I had it cut back so the engines don't appear to be canted upwards.

Exclamation Flap canoes

Last thing is to add the flap mechanism fairing known as canoes in the business.

Note: This kit does not have a landing gear. For me it is OK since I intend to hang it up in a flying configuration. It does however comes with a stand should you wish it.

Those mini me’s are great fun to add, aren’t they? Suggestion for a next project: There’s a KLM B787-10 on ecard models, with the special 100 years livery. Bought it some time ago but didn’t have the chance to build, except for the cockpit mock-up. The fit of at least section is great. Aircraft is names Zonnebloem/Sun flower and it’s KLM’s first 10 version.

Cheers,
Erik

Thank you for the suggestion. For now Ecard is not functional ( for a while longer ).

What scale is that model?

Thanks

Isaac

Fantastic build!!! Came out nice and clean!!!

Biken doesn't have a web shop, he used to upload his kits at ecards. I think you can still buy some at his Facebook page store. https://www.facebook.com/pcig.3apmodels.np/

Great Build Job........... can't believe that recolor was done 7 years ago.

Maybe I need to re-visit it and re-scale to 1/72 and add some details and other changes/additions to the model.

and remember to add the scale to the cover page
