Dornier Do 215 - GELI - 1:33

Hello aviation friends

Next in between project I will build the Do 215 from GELI.
It is an old sheet whose print quality is relatively nice.

Around 190 parts can be found on five sheets and one cardboard sheet.
I'm really looking forward to cutting a GELI again, so to speak "Back to the roots"

Sincerely yours
Kurt

That can be interesting.

I build ancient model kits from time to time just not originals.I scan mine and make them from scan because half the time original paper if hard to work with and other half the time there are imperfections in models to be ironed out in PS.

That method comes in handy when I have to replace parts when originals just don't fit. That happened too often.

Than again I'm told Geli are usually trouble free.I'll watch it build.

Part 5 ... connect to Part 4 ...

... part 6 follows ... with the holes cut out in the frame, I can align it exactly with the cut edge of the fuselage ...

... the slim hull of the "flying pencil" is already clearly visible

Kind regards
Kurt

Hi

welcome to all friends around the world

Now it continues with the front fuselage part 3 ... whereby the edges for the cockpit to be installed later are already scratched,
the cutout on the frame is also cut slightly

Between parts 3 and 4 there is a gap that I close with a self-made frame and cardboard strips ...
... so that part 3 has a good hold

Sincerely yours
Kurt
