Thank you very much Papermate for sharing aspects of this new brand Twin Otter paper model, congratulations and also a thank you to Murph for having accepted the challenge, I feel a little smug for having motivated all this, I actually thought that being a little talkative in the forum the motion would be in the empty space

Meteor, I think Murph will thank you for your inspiration and motivation.
He needs input of new ideas (and push also) to make his webstore thrive! Now, all eyes are on him for the upcoming release of this model and for him, intake of dough, haha! |

The CC-138 looks very nice. Waiting with great interest to see the beta built from whoever has the great fortune to be doing that one.

Murph's Model - Dehavilland Canada DHC Twin Otter, Golden Knights version, 1/72
The first to appear is his knighthood, the Golden Knights, as he says he's got an important mission to fly. I have reduced the scale of this beta build to 1/72 so the model measures some 20 cm or 8 inches long. I have cut open the door of the left side of the fuselage just for fun. The original template doesn't say you can do that. More pictures of his model will be shown on the relevant thread - OBP/Murph's Models in 1/72. So here it is, a couple of pics as teaser.
The next model will be the USFS in brighter colours. So stay tuned. |

A real beauty. I am always glad to see a U.S. Army aircraft being modeled.

I think that door is an emergency exit. The exit doors are car-style doors for the pilots and the big doors behind the wings.

I agree with Aaron.Looking at pictures those look like additional hinged access panel for possibly cargo handling, not doorway. It's not present on all pictures and emergency exit is right next to it ,marked with red corners.
Notice there is no handle on it.It opens from inside only. |
